Discounted tickets on sale for Classic

Discounted tickets are available in the Saint Louis and Kahuku cheering sections for the HHSAA/First Hawaiian Football Classic.

The Hawai'i High School Athletic Association doubleheader involving national champion De La Salle and Long Beach Poly, a program that has sent more players to the NFL than any other high school, will be played Sept. 21 at Aloha Stadium.

Tickets in the Saint Louis (FF-KK, orange and blue levels) sections will only be available for the discounted price of $17 (regular price: $24) through today. For more information regarding St. Louis' cheering section tickets, please call 739-4856.

Tickets in the Kahuku (F-K, orange and blue levels) section will only be available for the discounted price of $17 (regular price: $24) through tomorrow. For more information regarding Kahuku's cheering section tickets, please call 293-8919 or visit Kahuku's Web site at kahuku.org.

All other tickets are available via Ticket Plus and Aloha Stadium, as follows:

• Aloha Stadium: Box office open from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, tickets are available via Aloha Stadium's Charge Line from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by calling (808) 484-1122 (Neighbor Islands may call (800) 291-3999).

Ticket Prices:

• Mauka and Makai sidelines (orange, blue, and brown levels): $24

• Mauka and Makai sidelines (red and yellow levels): $19

• South end zone (all levels — orange, blue, brown, red, and yellow): $14 (note: both specially marked Coca-Cola products and Papa John's Pizza flyers contain a $5 discount off any South end zone ticket purchased at the Aloha Stadium Box Office).

• North end zone (orange): $8 (the North end zone's orange level is designated as The Honolulu Advertiser's "Zonies" section; purchasers of these tickets will receive a special "Zonies" goodie bag, courtesy of The Honolulu Advertiser)

• North end zone (blue, brown, red and yellow): $5
