Motorcyclist in critical condition

A motorcyclist was critically injured last night after he was involved in a collision with a car on H-3 Freeway.

The accident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the Halawa-bound lanes of H-3 near the first tunnel. Traffic investigators were at the scene late last night and other details were not available.

The man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition last night. There were no reports of other injuries.

Police shut down all Halawa-bound lanes on H-3 for several hours while they investigated.
