ALFRED WILLIAM KIRCHNER, 84, of Honolulu, died July 22, 2002. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Retired U.S. Army colonel; past Bowling Green State University, Ohio, military science professor; one of the original members, and three-term president, Hawai'i Kai Neighborhood Board. Survived by wife, Regina Kever Kirchner; daughters, Leslie Guest and Lorin Brown; son, Keith; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Burial Tuesday at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
