 •  More best wishes

Big Congratulations to the Waipi'o Team, their coaches, manager, and parents! We really enjoyed watching you on ESPN. Keep up the great team work! You all represent Hawaii well in your sportsmanship and abilities! Aloha and

Shaka Braddahs, da Miller's

Great first game! You guys showed alot of heart...keep it up all the way through to the final. All of you are making us proud.

Congratulations! I am so proud of all you! Because being stationed out here in Japan it's hard to see what's going on there at home. And to see young individuals like yourselves in the news because you all work so very hard to go to the Little League World Series makes me brag to the others here about the very talentive young individuals we have there in Hawaii. You must have one heck of a coach! You make me all proud! Win! Win! Win the game! And again Congratulations to all of you !!!!!!

Coach Clyde and Team,

Size is not everything ......... The hitting and the excellent fielding made the difference ........ plus Kurt total command of the ptich helped a little (13K's) WOW . All the players on this team proves that "heart" is the only driving force that will make or break your team. This team is all HEART . . .

I stand in awe watching each member of this team perform to their potential and beyond. I guess practice, practice and practice paid off BIG time today.

I yelled so much I even scare myself .......... Do it Hawaiian Style.

First of, I would like to thank ESPN, sponsors and Honolulu Advertiser for such a special feature of Little League World Series Baseball.

Yes, like many others, I've been rooting for Hawaii!!! You guys are great! Very well disciplined and such great plays!

I don't normally write about my opinions on what I see on TV esp. sports but this one, I just gotta! I had to! You guys are phenomenal! Great kids! Great plays!

We may not be at the stands but we're with you all the way and can definitely feel the excitement. Our TV never got this loud let alone have this much commotion in our living room whenever we watch you guys play. My family enjoy every minute of the live telecast.

With all the hard work and pressure, you've come this far. Win or lose, you guys are the bomb! We are proud of you.

To coach Tanabe, great job you did on the kids and great decision on every step. The kids play very well and are well composed!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Go!!! HAWAII!!!!

More power,

Wow! The whole state is behind you and so so proud. I am a Tutu-age 74--with a grandson now almost 17-playing in Florida no-on more than one AllStar team and his whole life since age 4 and T-ball has centered on baseball.(plays other sports as well) However, always remembering that his education is foremost, as a sports career can always be shortened by injuries. He played Little league here in Hawaii until age 12 and their move to Florida. He is good, but you--the Waipio team--have shown your true team spirit, at the same time reflecting the spirit of our Hawaii for the whole nation and world to see. I have to tell you--this Tutu- cried with emotion throughout your game yesterday--and probably will today! The tears came on the first hand injury and it wasn't even our team! I just didn't want any youngster to miss playing at Cooperstown--after getting there!

Enjoy every moment of this experience. I am geting "chicken skin" just writing this message to you. I know every Tutu---every parent of Little Leagers here in Hawaii are having the same emotions, even if their team is
not there. The whole state has become "your team" and that love will surround you throughout your endeavors there. As your coach says just--"do your best and have fun"!!! Just play with the same spirit you have shown in this your first "World Series" game, and win or lose--we will still be proud.

IMUA and God Bless. aloha nui loa,
Ruth Willenborg
