Police did not release details on the role of the two women arrested in the case.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with second-degree robbery after he allegedly strong-armed a male acquaintance until he gave up his car keys.

Derek Whitney is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail in connection with the Sunday incident.

The 37-year-old victim told police that Whitney had harassed him all day about borrowing his car until 4:30 p.m., when he allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck in a choke hold and demanded the keys.
