The Experience at Ko'ele
No. 17 I 390 yards, par 4

The Experience at Ko'ele offers golfers the opportunity to play one of the state's most picturesque holes on one of the most challenging courses in Hawai'i.

One of the features that golfers find fascinating about the course is the contrast between the front and back nines. The front rolls through what used to be pineapple fields, with the back being a mountain course.

At the No. 17 "signature hole," players must contend with a 200-foot drop from tee to fairway and, at the same time, adjust to the trade winds that often blow across the wooded ravine. This hole is nestled in the deepest gorge on the island. The green is guarded to the right by a 70-foot sentinel eucalyptus.
