Tonight's Must-See
"Lizzie McGuire" (7:30 p.m.) and "A Ring of Endless Light" (8 and 9:40 p.m.), Disney Channel. First is "Lizzie McGuire," a junior-high comedy starring Hilary Duff. Frankie Muniz ("Malcolm in the Middle") plays himself. Responding to an invitation from a teacher, Mr. Dig, he visits the school. Lizzie soon finds he's a regular guy who wants to go out with her. Alas, having a regular date is another matter. Then comes "Ring," from a novel by Madeleine L'Engle. Mischa Barton plays a pleasant teen who soon finds herself with an old boyfriend, a new prospect and an inexplicable ability to communicate with dolphins. "Frank B.
