Big Island hosts falsetto contest

Every song tells a story, and if you're lucky enough to be on the Big Island tomorrow, you're in for an Island musical treat.

That's when the 11th annual "Kindy" Sproat Falsetto and Storytelling Contest takes place, spotlighting the best of both genres. The contest begins at 2 p.m. at the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Resort. Admission is $10 and an Aloha Festivals ribbon. (808) 886-6789.
