O.A. "OZZIE" BUSHNELL, who combined a scientific background, love of history and literary flair to produce some of Hawai'i's finest and most popular books, died at home Aug. 21 after a long illness. He was 89.

ANTONE ALAMEIDA, 88, of Waialua, died Aug. 14, 2002. Born in Waialua. A member of Liluokalani Protestant Church.
