Pigskin Picks returns

Advertiser Staff

Who doesn't want to win a free trip for two to Las Vegas and $500 spending — or should we say, gambling — money?

Who doesn't want to be featured as a guest picker with their smiling face in The Honolulu Advertiser?

Who doesn't want to play Pigskin Picks?

Pigskin Picks, the contest that thousands play and many win, will kick off again this season, starting with ballots in tomorrow's and Tuesday's Honolulu Advertiser sports section.

More than 150,000 ballots were submitted during last year's football season-long contest. In the final weeks, more than 10,000 entries were submitted.

The top weekly prize again is a trip for two to Las Vegas, courtesy of Worry-Free Vacations and Non-Stop Travel, and $500 from The Honolulu Advertiser.

The end-of-the-year Grand Prize will be the use of a 2003 Honda Civic LX for a year, courtesy Honda Windward.

Other year-end prizes are a 2001 Vespa ET2 scooter (runner-up) from Maui Vespa, Cycle City, Ltd. and Two Wheels Kaua'i, and a Fujifilm Nexia 3100 Zoom camera and other accessories (second runner-up) from Fujifilm.

Weekly prizes also include a $50 certificate from Tesoro Hawai'i (runner-up) and a $30 gift certificate from Dixie Grill (second runner-up).

Use the published coupon to enter, or pick up an official coupon at The Advertiser, 605 Kapi'olani Boulevard, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

The contest lasts 18 weeks.
