• "Investigative Reports: Wage Slaves," 6 and 10 p.m., A&E. Something has gone terribly wrong, this documentary tells us, in the old notion that most Americans would be middle-income. Instead, some people get wildly rich. And many are impoverished. "Wage Slaves" entwines commentary with views of five struggling workers. We meet single moms, making do, and a man who strings together 70-80 hours a week of home-healthcare jobs.

"Gods and Goddesses," 6 and 10 p.m., History Channel. From the booming Zeus to the loving Aphrodite, here's a portrait of the epic figures in Greek mythology.
