Tonight's Must-See

• "Hysterical Blindness, 5 p.m., HBO. If you missed this movie's premiere Sunday, catch it now. Laura Cahill's play focused on two young women, groping for love and life. The story is too predictable, but the characters are richly drawn. Uma Thurman optioned the play. She hired Cahill to write the script, Mira Nair ("Monsoon Wedding") to direct and Juliette Lewis to co-star. Lewis is perfect, but it's Thurman's work — both brash and fragile — that is deeply moving.

Of Note

• Miss Teen USA Pageant, 8 p.m., CBS. This aims for youth appeal with Chris Kirkpatrick (of 'N Sync) and Willa Ford hosting. Bow Wow performs. Woof!
