Tonight's Must-See
"Hollywood Rocks the Movies: The 1970s," 2 p.m., AMC. In the 1950s and '60s, movies viewed rock 'n' roll warily. In the '70s, they embraced it. This was the decade of flash ("Saturday Night Fever") and sass ("Rocky Horror Picture Show"). Even films with no music link got a great boost. Shown just a few minutes of a detective film, Isaac Hayes created his brilliant "Shaft" theme. Narrated by David Bowie, it's followed by "The Last Waltz" at 4 p.m., Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" and the "Spiders from Mars" at 6:10 p.m. and more all weekend. "The Dennis Miller Show," series finale, 8:30 p.m., HBO. For nine seasons, Miller has given us intelligent guests and great comic rants. He wraps it up tonight with Vince Vaughn as his scheduled guest.
