Man found dead in airplane bathroom

A 76-year-old male passenger found lifeless on Philippine Airlines Flight 105 yesterday to Honolulu is believed to have died of natural causes.

The man's body was found in the plane's bathroom yesterday while the aircraft was in mid-flight, police said.

The city Medical Examiner's Office has yet to release the man's name pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.

The passenger is believed to have lived in the Philippines, police said. Authorities do not suspect foul play.

Windsurfer found near Maui

A windsurfer from Canada who was missing overnight was found in good condition this morning about eight miles south of Maui, the Coast Guard said.

Jrazyna Pstrong, 46, of Vancouver, British Columbia, was released after being treated aboard the Coast Guard cutter Assateague, which picked her up at about 7:20 a.m., said Chief Petty Officer Tyler Johnson.

Pstrong was found floating on her board about a mile north of Molokini crater.

Pstrong was reported missing yesterday at 6:10 p.m. Crews, including a 25-foot small boat from Maui, an HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Barbers Point, a C-130 Hercules airplane, the Coast Guard Cutter Assateague, a small boat and helicopter from the Maui Fire Department and a local vessel had searched for Pstrong.
