Pflueger affiliate to move in Iwilei

Advertiser Staff

An affiliate of local automobile retailer Pflueger Hawaii Inc. has spent $1.6 million to acquire real estate in Iwilei to move and expand a nearby used-car dealership as early as next week.

Pflueger Group LLC in late November completed deals to buy two parcels from I. Sato Inc. for $700,000 each, and lease a third site from the Damon Estate for $172,000 to lock up more than an acre on the corner of Dillingham Boulevard and North King Street.

The site is the former home of a Burger King restaurant and is near the Pflueger Auto Value Center used-car dealership across the street at 602 Dillingham Blvd.

A company sales representative said the move could be completed next week.

Alan Pflueger, manager of Pflueger Group and president of Pflueger Hawaii, could not be reached yesterday for further details.

Pflueger Hawaii operates Pflueger Honda on Ala Moana, Pflueger Acura on Beretania Street and a second used-car dealership in Waipahu.
