His latest single is "From Tha Chuuuch to Da Palace," giving the phonetic spelling to the hip-hop pronunciation of "church." Snoop's new variety show, "Doggy Fizzle Televizzle," on MTV, will no doubt secure the place of another American lexicon contribution he has championed: the "izzy" tizzy. Since Snoop welcomed everyone into the hizzouse a few years back, adding the extra syllable has been all the rizzaaage.
'Inappropriate Baby' an appropriate gift
It's call "The Inappropriate Baby Book" (Andrews McMeel Publishing, hardback, $12.95) and is designed to chronicle "gross and embarrassing memories from baby's first year," with each page tidily outfitted with a different memory that will be really fun to share with your son's first girlfriend: "Your belly button stump was lovingly cleaned by this person." "Here are some public places where you were allowed to play naked." "The first indigestible item that came out in your diaper was . . ." Oh, that's nasty.
Film fest fave 'Iyer' screens tomorrow
The movie, written and directed by popular Indian actress Apama Sen, won best feature film laurels this year.
