"The Royal Hawaiian Presents Harmony of Cheese, Wine and Grand Marnier," featuring a collection of gourmet cheeses of the world and seasonal fruits paired with wine and Grand Marnier, and a demonstration by executive sous chef Alfred Cabacungan preparing a holiday dessert with mascarpone cheese; 5:30-7:30 p.m., The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Regency Ballroom. $25 per person; limited seating. First Wine Dinner, featuring the vintages of Veuve Clicquot and Cerretto presented by Clicquot representative Michael Hutchinson and paired with the cuisine of executive chef Matthew Johnson; 6:30-9:30 p.m., Sergio's Italian Restaurant, Hilton Hawaiian Village. $65 per person, plus tax and tip; limited seating. "Tales From The Vineyard," a two-part Hawai'i Public Television program featuring French-born American chef Serge David taking viewers on a tour to explore the wines of his native country; 6:30 p.m. and Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
