Duct tape sticks to high fashion

Duct tape, that superhero of adhesives, seems to play a role in everyone's life from time to time. It has rescued us from auto, plumbing, first-aid and even fashion emergencies. Now duct tape is being made into practical and fashionable wallets and handbags for men and women.

The line, called Ducti, is made of Super Duct Tape, created exclusively for use in making the accessories. The company swears it won't lift, peel or get sticky. If it becomes worn or damaged, each piece comes with a Super Duct Repair Strip so the owner can repair it at home. Prices range from $15 to $25. We haven't found Ducti in island stores, but it can be purchased online at www.Ducti.com or by calling (866) 438-38284.
