Rub elbows with some of the top women in surfing

Sanoe Lake, above, who was featured in the recent filmed-in-Hawai'i feature "Blue Crush," will be among the athletes. Others include Kelly Potts, Maui pro longboarder; and Alana Brennan, a state surfing champion. Keala Kennelly, another "Blue Crush" veteran, also may show up.
The barbecue, noon to 2 p.m., kicks off the Billabong Pro Maui, the final event in the women's World Championship Tour. (808) 877-7433.
