The second event in the "Rock Waimanalo Festival" series will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Honolulu Polo Club field, across the street from Bellows Air Force Station.

More than 40 vendors will be selling bonsai, protea Christmas wreaths, handmade feather hatbands, koa crafts and jewelry.

Visit Waimanalo businesses for a free raffle ticket to take to the festival for a chance at the prizes.

The second of three festivals planned in Waimanalo is sponsored by the city, EnviroWatch Inc., the Honolulu Polo Club, the Waimanalo Agricultural Association, the Waimanalo Chamber of Commerce and the Waimanalo Construction Coalition.

The community plans a final ho'olaule'a Dec. 14 at Waimanalo Beach Park after the Christmas parade along Kalaniana'ole Highway beginning at 10 a.m. at Humuniki Street.

The events a intended to boost the local economy, hurt by a road closure at Makapu'u Point during a project to make the road safer.
