Singer Pink bites own bodyguard

Singer Pink bit one of her own security guards in a late-night brawl, according to a newspaper in Adelaide, Australia.

The man needed treatment after trying to restrain the star from lashing out at bar staff in Adelaide last week, the Sun reported.

Pink, this year's biggest-selling female artist, is coming to Honolulu for a Blaisdell Arena concert on Wednesday and who is interviewed in The Honolulu Advertiser's TGIF section today.

Trouble started for Pink, whose real name in Alecia Moore, when she returned to Adelaide's Hilton Hotel from an outdoor gig. Pink jumped on the bar and started dancing despite the complaints of hotel staffers, the Sun said. Eventually, one of her own guards climbed up to restrain her and she bit him.

"The guy yelped like a dog," the paper quoted one onlooker as saying.

"He was obviously in a lot of pain and had to go to a nearby hospital for first aid."
