Tonight's Must-See
"Silent Night," 7 & 9 p.m., Hallmark Channel. Here's a Christmas movie with depth, intelligence and emotion. Late in World War II, a German woman has lost her house in a bombing raid. She and her son plod to a family cabin where soldiers from both sides scramble for cover.
"The Junction Boys," 4 & 10 p.m., ESPN. In his first year as football coach at Texas A&M, this movie says, Paul "Bear" Bryant took his players to a parched desert. They practiced under intense heat without water and little medical care. Of Local Note
"The World In A Box," 9 p.m., PBS. Award-winning filmmakers (and new Maui residents) Cal Lewin and Victoria Eubank Lewin look at people experimenting with computer models to solve global problems.
