Tonight's Must-See

"Door to Door," 6 & 8 p.m., TNT. One of the best TV shows of 2002 aired in July when some people weren't home to see it. "Door to Door" is the true story of Bill Porter, a champion door-to-door salesman, despite cerebral palsy.

It is beautifully captured by actor William H. Macy and director Steven Schachter. Their script throws in fictional tales of customers on the salesman's route. The result is an intelligent, feel-good film.

"Human Instinct," 9 & 10 p.m., The Learning Channel. Science and human nature mingle in this two-night series. The opener shows how babies use their only weapon (crying) to survive. That expands into adults surviving dangers that are real (a man describes leaping 150 feet into the North Sea during an oil rig fire) and contrived (a thrill-seeker runs with the bulls).

The second hour views sexual attractiveness and repeats a Florida State University study in which good-looking people asked strangers for sex. Few women said yes; three-fourths of the men did.

Of Note

"Sleepless in Seattle" (1993), 5:30 & 10 p.m., TBS. Many of the people behind the terrific film "When Harry Met Sally..." joined forces for this warm, funny movie. Nora Ephron (who co-wrote both films) also directed this one with Meg Ryan starring again. This time, Ryan is fascinated by the voice of a stranger on the radio and because he is played by Tom Hanks, all turns out well.

"King of Queens," 7 p.m., CBS. Doug and his pal, Deacon, feud about a long-ago toy.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. In a rerun, Ray is startled to realize he didn't have that much fun going out with the guys.

"Judgment Day: The Ellie Nesler Story" (1999), 9 p.m., Lifetime. Christine Lahti is brilliant in this disturbing, true story of a revenge killing.
