Mo'ili'ili bank robbed today

Central Pacific Bank's Mo'ili'ili branch at 2615 S. King St. was robbed today by a man who passed a demand note to a teller. The 8:37 a.m. robbery was the third in as many days and the 29th on O'ahu this year. Today's robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Car, cash taken in robberies

A 25-year-old man's car was stolen and a 50-year-old woman was robbed of cash last night in separate armed robberies in Kalihi and Mililani, respectively.

The car's owner told police he was threatened by a man armed with a screwdriver at King and Kohou streets at 10:50 p.m. The suspect drove off in his white 2000 Plymouth Neon, which has not been located.

The woman had received money from an ATM when she was confronted by a man armed with a weapon, which police did not identify. The robbery was reported at 6:45 p.m.
