Tonight's Must-See
"Sarah Hughes: A Life in Balance," 7 p.m., NBC. Ten months ago, Sarah Hughes stunned the figure-skating world by winning the Olympic gold medal. Now she gets a prime-time special hosted by Brittany Snow of "American Dreams." It looks at Hughes' life both on and off the ice.
Of Note
"A Christmas Story" (1983) marathon, TNT. This comedy delight a boy's view of a 1946 Christmas started at 6 p.m. Tuesday. It continues every two hours until 6 p.m. today.
"Diamonds Are Forever" (1971), 7 a.m., TNN. Sean Connery returned for this James Bond film, making it a good one. The Bond marathon continues all day with lesser Roger Moore films.
"The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade," 8 a.m., ABC. Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin host with Meredith Vieira and Wayne Brady helping. Performers include Cirque du Soleil and the stars of a stage version of "Beauty and the Beast."
Basketball, 1 & 3:30 p.m., ABC. This network takes over the NBA coverage and offers a double-header. It's Boston at New Jersey and then Sacramento at the Los Angeles Lakers.
"The West Wing," 8 p.m., NBC. This rerun flashes back to Bartlet's decision to keep his illness secret.
