A 63-year-old Kalihi woman who was hit by a car at North King Street and Richard Lane on Tuesday died Wednesday at The Queen's Medical Center.

The medical examiner's office today identified her as Ying Chun Tam.

Tam was O'ahu's 67th traffic fatality of the year.

In other traffic accidents, two men injured in separate Wednesday incidents on O'ahu remained in critical condition yesterday at Queen's, and a 22-year-old man was killed Wednesday in a single-car crash on Maui's Honoapi'ilani Highway.

A 39-year-old Waikiki man suffered head injuries when he was thrown from his moped while attempting a stunt in the parking lot of a gas station at 1403 N. School St. Wednesday. Police said speed was a factor in the 1:40 p.m. incident and that the injured moped rider was not wearing a helmet.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man was injured in a pickup truck crash at 4:04 a.m. Wednesday on the H-2 Freeway near the Wai'anae off-ramp in Waipi'o. Speed also was a factor in that crash, police said.

On Maui, police said Esau Fononga died in a 1:20 a.m. crash in Lahaina. The 23-year-old driver of the car, which overturned after hitting a rock and utility pole, is in guarded condition at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
