Advertiser Staff
The parent company of Central Pacific Bank, CPB Inc., will begin trading under the ticker symbol "CPF" when its shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The bank, Hawai'i's third largest commercial bank, currently trades under the symbol "CPBI" on the Nasdaq exchange. The NYSE uses three-letter symbols, and CPB was already taken by Campbell Soup Co.
To celebrate its new listing, the company will ring the NYSE Closing Bell on Jan. 29.
