Pro Bowl on TV

Advertiser Staff

Despite not yet being a sellout, tomorrow's Pro Bowl game will be televised live locally, starting at 11:30 a.m. on KITV (channel 4, cable 6).

"It's headed toward a sellout so we decided to lift the blackout," said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy.

According to league policy, an NFL game is not shown locally if it is not sold out 72 hours in advance.

McCarthy said "a few 100" tickets remain for the game at Aloha Stadium, which has a 50,000-seat capacity. The game, which has been played here since 1980, has been a sellout here for all but one year.

Tickets may be purchased at any Ticket Plus location, the Aloha Stadium box office or by calling 526-4400 or (877) 750-4400.
