Oral Roberts sweeps UH-Hilo in baseball

David Castillo had three hits and three RBIs and Eric Donaldson had three hits and four stolen bases to lead Oral Roberts to a 9-2 victory over Hawai'i-Hilo in the first game of a college baseball doubleheader at Wong Stadium in Hilo yesterday.

The Golden Eagles won the second game, 4-3.

Oral Roberts is 3-2, Hawai'i-Hilo 1-16-1.

In the first game, the Vulcans jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Golden Eagles scored three runs in the third, two in the fourth and four in the fifth.

Mike Rogers pitched five inning for the victory, allowing five hits while striking out seven and walking none. Kaliko Oligo was 2-for-4 for the Vulcans.

In the second game, Oral Roberts broke a 3-all tie with a run in the sixth inning. Hilo's Johnny Dudoit was 3-for-4.
