TONIGHT'S MUST SEE

"Winter Olympics," 4-5 p.m., 6:30-10 p.m., 10:30 p.m-midnight, with reruns midnight-3:30 a.m., NBC. Also, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., MSNBC and 1-7 p.m., CNBC, with reruns 8 p.m.-2 a.m. on MSNBC. Prime time has lots of fast women. That includes the 500-meter speedskating and the finals of the luge singles and of the 1500-meter speedskating. Also in prime time are ski jumping and the combined competition (downhill and slalom) for men's Alpine skiing. Daytime has the race in the men's biathlon. On cable, MSNBC has women's hockey (Canada vs. Russia) and men's curling (United States vs. Germany), plus the race in the women's biathlon. CNBC has more men's curling (United States vs. Norway), plus two men's hockey games — Switzerland vs. Belarus and France vs. Ukraine.

"A Huey P. Newton Story," 9 p.m., PBS. As actor Roger Guenveur Smith studied the tapes of Huey P. Newton, he found fascinating extremes. Newton was an intense activist, co-founder of the Black Panthers; talked quickly and had a sly sense of humor. Smith fashioned that into a one-man play, showing Newton at a press conference, which Spike Lee has turned into a stylish movie. The result is a zesty blend of great acting and superb directing.

OF NOTE

"Enterprise," 8 p.m., UPN. Reed and Trip are stranded during a shuttle-pod mission.

"American Family," 8 p.m., PBS. Searching for her husband, Lupe goes to an immigration detention center.

"According to Jim," 7:30 p.m., ABC. Cheryl thinks it would be fun to give her husband a sexy photo for Valentine's Day. The fun vanishes when he starts flashing it to the other guys.

"The Drew Carey Show," 8 p.m., ABC. Drew can't believe his luck when he starts dating a beautiful cop (Jenny McCarthy). Soon, he learns her flaws.

"Guilty Hearts" (conclusion), 8 p.m., CBS. In the first half of this true story, a sweet church organist (Marcia Gay Harden) began an affair with a doctor (Treat Williams). Now his wife has been murdered, and the story tangles in odd and interesting ways.

"Titus," 8:30 p.m., Fox. Will Chris and Titus ever get married? In real life, which this series is loosely based on, they are married. In this series, it's shaky. Tonight, Chris (Christopher Titus) has an excessive bachelor party. Erin (Cynthia Watros) disapproves.
