After cutting out:

  1. Fold it in half vertically, crease and unfold.
  2. Hold square vertically, fold each long edge into the center, crease and unfold.
  3. Turn the paper horizontally and repeat steps 1 and 2. The paper should have creases marking 16 small squares.
  4. Turn paper so the writing is face down. Fold each corner into the center. Do not unfold.
  5. Turn the paper over. Fold each corner into the center. Do not unfold.
  6. Fold the bottom half up to make a rectangle. Put thumbs and index fingers into the folds; pinch top corners together.

To use: Pick a panel. Alternating top/bottom and side/side, open and close the date catcher as many times as there are letters in the word you selected. Pick an area inside, and open and close for as many times as there are letters in the words. Pick an area once more and lift the flap to read the tip on the inside.
