carl_english: thanks for having the opportunity to be here

phil_martin: What's up. Thanks for joining us tonight.

dayton_morinaga: UHsavo1 asks Carl: Do you have a girlfriend? If so what is her name?

carl_english: yes, i do. mandy savovich.

dayton_morinaga: stoked4andyirons asks: What are your majors at UH?

carl_english: i'm majoring in liberal studies.

phil_martin: I'm majoring in sociology

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish23 asks: Carl, do you see yourself being drafted into the NBA?

carl_english: that's not my main concern right now. i'm concerned about the ncaa tournament.

dayton_morinaga: Waynekai asks: Carl, How far do you believe the Bows will legitimately be able to go in the NCAA Tournament?

carl_english: yes, we will be going and hopefully advancing to the sweet 16 -- or further.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: Do you think you'll have another letdown like in San Jose?

phil_martin: No. I don't think so. Definitely not. We had a reality check and we're going strong.

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish23 asks Carl: How old were you when you first started playing basketball?

carl_english: i was a second-grader at fatim academy

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: Do you think you guys could repeat again at the WAC Tournament?

phil_martin: Yes. We definitely feel we can repeat.

dayton_morinaga: stoked4andyirons asks: Has being a celebrity and being recognized everywhere changed your attitude?

carl_english: it's nice to be recognized, but it's also nice to have some privacy as well.

phil_martin: It hasn't changed my attitude at all. I'm just glad everyone supports us and enjoys watching us.

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks Phil: Do you believe that you must increase your strength to battle the big dudes?

phil_martin: I think I need to increase my strength. I felt strong at the beginning of the season. I was 230 pounds. I've gone down to 215, so it's a little harder now.

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: What were some of the causes of the team's offensive lapse in Louisiana?

phil_martin: We going one way — shooting from outside — too strong. We needed to get other looks in the offense.

carl_english: team charisma was not flowing and we were out of the orientation of the offense.

dayton_morinaga: dd196 asks: Do you guys play any musical instruments?

carl_english: phil plays the banjo

phil_martin: I play the piano; the keyboard.

carl_english: i only play basketball

phil_martin: Carl plays the bird

dayton_morinaga: Five-O asks: Are you guys disappointed that you have not played in front of a sellout crowd ?

phil_martin: Not disappointed. We get a lot of support all over the place. But I'm sure a sellout crowd is coming soon.

carl_english: i believe our team is exciting enough to have a sellout crowd, and hopefully we'll sell out the last two games of the season.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: AAre you worried about Thursay's game against Tulsa?

carl_english: tulsa is a great team and they always give us some trouble. but we should be ready for them on thursday.

phil_martin: No, we're not worried about it. The coaches are preparing us very well. By no means are we overconfident.

dayton_morinaga: Jeanne asks: If your last name isEnglish, does that mean you are English, too?

carl_english: no, i'm not english. i'm part irish. but most of my ancestors are from canada.

dayton_morinaga: soljahger123 asks: After you graduate do you guys have plans of staying here or going back home?

University of Hawai'i basketball player Phil Martin, right, answers questions from readers. Sports staffer Leila Wai, left, provides typing assistance and Martin's visiting friend from Toronto, Saeed Al-Naji, watches.

Cory Lum • The Honolulu Advertiser

phil_martin: I plan on going back home (Canada), but Hawaii will always be a second home for me. I plan to come back as often as I can.

carl_english: hopefully my future plans involve playing professional somewhere in the world or pursuing my degree.

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: Do you think Riley Wallace has prepared you well for the postseason?

carl_english: yes, tremendously. he puts a lot of emphasis on postseason play, so we'll be ready.

phil_martin: Yes, coach Wallace definitely prepares us well in regular and postseason. He puts the fire in us to do well to be the best we can be.

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer asks: What are you guys doing to prepare yourself mentally and physically for Thursday's game?

carl_english: mentally, we're focusing on how we beat them before and looking at the positives of the win. physically, we're sticking to our normal routine of practice.

phil_martin: For me, I need a lot of rest. I need to stay focused and visualize what I'm going to do.

dayton_morinaga: dd196 asks: You guys are role models for a lot of kids, who is your role model or hero?

carl_english: my role model is michael jordon because of the things the guy has overcome in his career and the things he's accomplished and the way he portrays himself day in and day out. that's something i look up to.

phil_martin: I see my mother as my role model because I live most of my life with my mother. The greatest basketball player on earth is Michael Jordan and models all the great attributes that a person should have.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: Would you recommend UH to any other athletes considering college? Why or why not?

carl_english: university of hawaii is a great place for any individual to study. the atmostphere and people around us are unique, something you wouldn't experience in any other place in the world.

phil_martin: Yes, I would recommend UH to other athletes. UH offers a different look on life, which I think young people are looking for.

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer asks: Where do you see yourselves in five years?

carl_english: hopefully in five years i'll be playing professional basketall and following my dreams.

phil_martin: I see myself playing professional basketball somewhere and living happily with my girlfriend back home.

dayton_morinaga: Palolo Jones wants to know: Who are your favorite NBA players and why?

phil_martin: Michael Jordan. He is a model person in my eyes in every aspect.

carl_english: michael jordan because he's the best, vince carter because he's high-flying and exciting to watch

dayton_morinaga: dd196 asks: What is the best quality of Coach Wallace? What is his worst?

carl_english: his best quality is he's father-like, caring to individuals. his worst quality -- to me, he doesn't have one.

phil_martin: Best quality of coach Wallace is he makes the effort to mix with players. I can't think of a worst quality. He's a good coach.

dayton_morinaga: UHSavo1 asks: Are you guys friends with all your teammates?

phil_martin: We're friends with our teammates. We feel like brothers, like family.

carl_english: most of us get along really well, except savo tends to change the mix a little bit.

dayton_morinaga: califan asks: Why did you guys choose UH?

carl_english: i chose uh because of the atmosphere and the coaches.

phil_martin: I was just looking for a twist in my life and Hawaii provided it. I like the cultural differences and the mix and everything.

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: Phil, you made a comment that you and Carl are the best of friends. How has your relationship been this year?

phil_martin: We're just closer than ever. As time goes on, the closer we get. I'm his biggest fan and he's my biggest fan.

dayton_morinaga: falafel asks: What is the most difficult aspect of being a student/athlete?

phil_martin: managing time.

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish asks: Does it bother you guys when the fans ask for autographs?

carl_english: being a student-athlete entails more than just basketball. managing time is key to success when travelling on the road, takes a lot of commitment and a lot of individual study.

carl_english: no, the fans come out and support us and it only takes a few minutes out of our time to show our appreciation. the more fans that come out, the better it is for us.

phil_martin: It doesn't bother me at all when fans ask for autographs. It's an overwhelming feeling that people appreciate us and what we do for the school.

dayton_morinaga: soljhger123 asks: Right now you guys are ranked 29th in the coaches ptop 25 poll. k you should be higher?

carl_english: yes, definitely. we've got a 21-4 record and we deserve more recognition than what we're getting. but we'll prove the doubters wrong soon.

phil_martin: I think we should be higher. We should have hit the top 25 this season. The season's not over.

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: What are your favorite and least favorite things about living in Hawaii?

carl_english: my favorite thing about living in hawaii are the weather and the people. just wonderful place to go to school. my least favorite is the distance from home, my family, my girlfriend.

phil_martin: The weather, the people, the cultural differences, the beach; the least favorite thing is being so far from home.

dayton_morinaga: toronto fan asks: Who's the better dunker between the two of you?

phil_martin: He has his up days and I have my up days.

carl_english: phil gets up higher, but i can do more stuff in the air.

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: Have either of you had the chance to have your families come over to visit you?

carl_english: yes. my girlfriend came two years ago and my brother is currently here.

phil_martin: I've only had friends come out to see me. The only time my family got a chance to see me was the NCAA tournament game in Dayton, Ohio. There are future plans for them to come out and see me.

dayton_morinaga: jeanne asks: If you didn't play basketball, what would you do?

carl_english: i would be going to school to prepare myself for the future and the challenges that are out there.

phil_martin: Try and put my major to use (sociology).

dayton_morinaga: Ironman asks: Kevin Johnson of Tulsa is the WAC Player of the Week. He will probably try to post you up Phil. Are you going to get help or are you on your own?

phil_martin: I think they'll try and go against Haim (Shimonovich), but either way, there will be help coming from either side.

dayton_morinaga: Ironman asks: Are there other good players in Canada you guys could recommend to Coach Wallace?

carl_english: sure, there's good players everywhere, just a matter of finding them. currently, i don't know of anyone i would recommend.

phil_martin: There a few who we can recommend. We have some inside scoop on players there.

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer asks: Do you guys have pregame rituals?

carl_english: no, i just keep it plain and simple, try to focus in on the game, the task at hand.

phil_martin: I like to listen to music (trance-techno). It's got that hyper intensity in it but charges me up.

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish23 asks: What do you guys like best about basketball?

carl_english: the competition and the excitement that it brings. just trying to fulfill your dreams, gives you goals to obtain in your life.

phil_martin: It fills a part of my life that is important. It's exciting and you can enjoy with other great people, such as my teammates.

dayton_morinaga: Palolo Jones asks: Which teams in the top 25 do you feel UH should displace?

phil_martin: Duke. No, just a joke. Georgia, since we beat them.

carl_english: georgia, ucla, usc, western kentucky, gonzanga, stanford, ohio state, wake forest

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: Do you guys have a lot of time to bond on the road?

carl_english: yes, we get a lot of time to do things as a team and just hanging out together in the hotel is fun.

phil_martin: We have time to bond on the road. We eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together on the road and as a team. We always try to find the Golden Corral. That's Coach Wallace's ritual.

dayton_morinaga: califan asks: Do students on campus treat you any different because you are basketball players?

carl_english: no. and if they did, we wouldn't like it. we're no different. end of story.

phil_martin: No, I don't think so. I don't feel they do.

dayton_morinaga: kolohekeiki asks: What kind of advice would you give a student athlete entering UH?

carl_english: set goals and objectives. manage your time. don't let anybody put you down in a negative way. and the sky's the limit.

phil_martin: Set your priorities straight and keep a strong head and learn to manage time.

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: How do you feel you've improved as players over the course of this season?

carl_english: it's been a long season and i've learned to stay within the offense and use my teammates in a more sufficient way.

phil_martin: We're stronger from when we first started. We learned the offense. We know the offense down to a "T".

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: Growing up, did you ever imagine being here? If not, where did you expect to be?

phil_martin: I never imagined being here. The only time I imagined coming here was on my honeymoon or when I retire.

carl_english: no i never imagined going to hawaii, unless it was a vacation or something. but i imagined i'd be somewhere central or east coast.

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish23 asks: What do you guys like about the Stan Sheriff Center?

phil_martin: It has a big-time, professional feel to it. It's a great atmosphere to play basketball.

carl_english: that was one of my major reasons for signing here in hawaii. it's a great facility and every seat is a good seat, which you don't find very often. and when we get a sellout, IF we get a sellout, it's a great atmosphere for a basketball player.

dayton_morinaga: sachie asks: Do you ever get any weird fan mail from girls? What's an example?

carl_english: yes. very much so. i'm not giving examples because then the girls would feel upset.

phil_martin: I don't. I get the odd fan mail here and there, but it's never weird.

dayton_morinaga: jshimabuku asks: Do you guys still have training during the summer?

phil_martin: We train during the summer with coaches back home (Canada) and with the national team. I also train on my own, too.

carl_english: yes. this summer i'm considering playing for a national team, which will play in turkey and in the world games in indianapolis.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: Were your coaches tough on you in high school?

carl_english: my coach was like a father figure to me. and he knew how to fire me up, which involves some yelling and things. but he always looked out for my best interests.

phil_martin: The coaches weren't too tough in high school. They kind of let us go and do our thing.

dayton_morinaga: Jeanne asks: What is the major difference between Canada and Hawaii?

phil_martin: Weather. Atmosphere is different. Canada doesn't have palm trees and all that sort of stuff.

carl_english: where i'm from there's not too much of a differnece because newfoundland is an island and the people are great, both places. however, it was a culture shock with the weather.

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: What would be the ideal year for you guys personally and as a team?

carl_english: as a team we'd like to advance to the sweet 16 or further. personally, i'm not too concerned with anything but us winning.

phil_martin: The ideal year would be one just like this, but with fewer losses, more national exposure and an NCAA bid.

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: Who is the goofiest guy on the team?

carl_english: we're all pretty goofy in our own way.

phil_martin: I'd say Carl is pretty wild. But everyone's goofy on the team.

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer requests: Describe yourselves in three words.

phil_martin: Tall, dark, handsome

phil_martin: That was a joke.

carl_english: I DON'T KNOW

dayton_morinaga: Palolo Jones asks: As Canadiens, did either of you play organized hockey as youths?

phil_martin: No, I never played onized hockey. I played unorganized street hockey.

carl_english: very much so. hockey was my sport up until grade 8. i still play sometimes. it's just a great sport.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: How do you guys focus for a game?

phil_martin: Visualization on the game.

carl_english: we focus by mentally preparing and visualization.

dayton_morinaga: runtchan asks: What are your favorite foods?

phil_martin: I love lasagne ... and great New York steak.

carl_english: various pasta dishes and steak and codfish

dayton_morinaga: califan asks: What other university would you might have chosen to play for if not UH?

carl_english: syracuse

phil_martin: Penn State, Syracuse, Seton Hall and Villanova.

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: Was UH your first choice of college to attend?

carl_english: no, it wasn't my first choice. they didn't start recruiting me until late in the summer and i decided to come here.

phil_martin: No, it wasn't my first choice. But now I'm happy that I'm here.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: Who has been the toughest opponent for you guys this year?

phil_martin: As player the toughest was Hancock; the toughest team was Tulsa.

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer asks: Did you guys ever regret coming to UH?

phil_martin: No. I'm happy to be here. No regrets at all.

carl_english: no. no regrets. it's great to be here.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: What kind of test do you think Fresno State will be this time with Melvin Ely?

carl_english: fresno state is always tough, especially at their place. melvin ely is a great player and should be a lottery pick, so it should be a great game this time around.

phil_martin: It will be definitely a great challenge. He's a great player who brings a lot of their team. Defense will be a key factor in winning this game, especially since it's on the road.

dayton_morinaga: Palolo Jones asks: As Canadiens, what did you think of the skating controversy at the Olympics?

carl_english: that was a lot of bull****. they deserved the gold medals the first time around.

phil_martin: I observed the two competitions and I definitely the Canadians should have gotten the gold. A duplicate gold just isn't the same. They should have been able to enjoy the proper moment after a great performance.

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: Are you flattered when people praise you for not only your basketball skills, but your looks also?

carl_english: i'm a basketball player and that's it.

phil_martin: It's flattering. All the attention ...

dayton_morinaga: califan assks: Do you know of any recruits coming in for next year?

phil_martin: no we don't know any yet

carl_english: i'm not sure, we're concentrating on this season. those things will come.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: o you think the whole nation will be surprised at UH during the NCAA Tournament? I see you guys in the sweet 16.

phil_martin: definitely people will be surprised. It will open up a lot of eyes

carl_english: i think they will be surprised, but we won't. i think we deserve to be there and hopefully we play to our team's potential in the tournament.

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: Do you plan to stay at UH all the way through your senior years?

carl_english: as of now, yes. i hope to finish up my next three years here.

phil_martin: Of course, things are rolling in the righr direction, you can't complain about the last few years we've had

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: How do you plan to spend the rest of the school year?

phil_martin: After the season is done, I plan to finish up strong in school and enjoy this great island

carl_english: next week we're about to go on the road and hopefully we have a successful road trip. when i get back, plan to spend my spring break in newfoundland and then i will be finishing up the rest of the semester, concentrating on school work.

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: Do you feel that you two will be the future leaders of the team?

carl_english: i hope so. but we're going to have to let the future take care of itself. if we work on the game and do the things we need to improve, we should be.

phil_martin: At any given point anyone on the team can step up as a leader

dayton_morinaga: stromio asks: Do you guys trash talk on the court?

carl_english: phil is

carl_english: yes, very much so. it motivates me.

phil_martin: sometimes

dayton_morinaga: runtchan asks: What are the strongest and wakest parts of your games?

phil_martin: we have to keep that a secret, there may be some spies reading this

carl_english: weakest part: my defensive game needs improvement and my foul-shooting. strongest part: shooting and passing.

dayton_morinaga: Britney asks: What kind of music do you guys listen to?

phil_martin: I's a versataile person so I like all kinds of music--trance, rap, house, r&b, slow jams

carl_english: hip hip hop 'til you don't stop, rap to the rhythm of the beat. big smooth is in the house and he's rockin the beat.

dayton_morinaga: sassy808 says: To date, what are the highlights of your UH careers?

carl_english: winning the wac championship last year and advancing to the tournament. also getting 20 plus wins this season has been exciting

phil_martin: leading the WAC in shooting percentage and receiving all-WAC newcomer honors

dayton_morinaga: crzmeeka24 asks: What do you guys do during your spare time? What activities besides basketball?

carl_english: sleep. study. keep in contact with family. and just relaxing.

phil_martin: listen to music, play x-box, go to the beach

dayton_morinaga: UHSavo1 asks Carl: What is your relationship with Predrag Savovic like?

carl_english: savo is a great guy. chris is here right now and she has positive feedback for him. she says she doesn't like his hairy chest. i'll give him a fade later.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: Were your families happy with your decisions to come to Hawaii?

carl_english: positive and negative. they love to see me try to achieve my goals but they miss me while i'm gone. at least i hope so.

phil_martin: yeah, they are really happy and glad to see that things are going well

dayton_morinaga: FISH1 asks Phil: What do you think your role is on this team?

carl_english: phil's role is to be a scorer and to look smooth on the court.

phil_martin: to play great defense, grab 8 rebounds and score 12 points and make a couple steals

dayton_morinaga: BungledMess asks: Any plans for you guys to play pro basketball?

phil_martin: that's one of the goals that I've set for myself

carl_english: everybody hopes they can play professional but only a scarce few make it.

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: Do you think the WAC is underappreciated by the media and coaches?

phil_martin: they litterally take it as being WACK

carl_english: yes the wac is underappreciated by many people. we don't get the recognition we deserve.

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: Other than basketball,do you guys play any other sports?

phil_martin: SOCCER, baseball, volleyball, football, soccer is by far my favorite

carl_english: i play hockey and track and field. and golf. and bowling. and tennis is the game of gods.

dayton_morinaga: Jeanne asks: What team would you like to play for if you make it to the pros?

phil_martin: Toronto Raptors, it would be great to play close to home, although I don't support their decision to trade T-Mac

carl_english: anybody. as long as i'm there, i'm happy.

dayton_morinaga: cmoney asks Carl: Is CMoney really your nickname? Is Phil called Smooth? If not, what are your nicknames?

carl_english: i am baby savo, but i'm also known as c-money and newfi. and phil is big smooth.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: Do you guys worry about making the NBA Draft?

carl_english: no, not right now. it's not one of my main concerns.

phil_martin: not at the moment, we have other concerns right now

dayton_morinaga: princessMasma asks: How do you think fans in Hawaii compare with the fans in other cities?

phil_martin: They seem more dedicated and appreciative and loyal

carl_english: they're great fans, but we'd also like to increase our student section at the game. but they're very appreciative.

dayton_morinaga: soljahger123 asks: Do people acknowledge you guys when you are out in public?

phil_martin: People acknowledge me and have only nice things to say

carl_english: yes, they do. they always same "great game" or "good job," recognizing what we did the night before.

dayton_morinaga: Jeanne asks: What are your pet peeves?

phil_martin: smoking and neufy music

carl_english: when reporters spill drinks on my shirt

dayton_morinaga: kolohekeikei asks: If you had the chance, would you like to turn pro early or stay at UH through your senior years?

carl_english: i think i'd turn pro because i'm close to finishing my degree and you never know when you can get injured and your chances go down the drain

phil_martin: I would take the chance and finish my education through correspondence courses

dayton_morinaga: waynekai: What did it feel like playing at Tulsa and beating the home team?

phil_martin: It was a great feeling, sort of like taking candy from a baby

carl_english: any win on the road is great and anytime we beat tulsa is a great accomplishment for our team.

dayton_morinaga: Carissa asks: Do you have any lucky charms that you rely on?

carl_english: no.

phil_martin: I eat Lucky Charms for breakfast

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: If by some chance you are upset early in the WAC Tournament, what do you think your chances are of getting an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament?

carl_english: we hope we get an at-large bid to enter the tournament, that's our goal now. then we wouldn't have to win the tournament to advance.

phil_martin: If we get these next few wins, we should receive an automatic bid. It would be WAC if we didn't get a bid regardless

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 wants to know: How did you guys meet each other?

phil_martin: We met each other through coaches back home in Canada

carl_english: we played against each other in canada and then we practiced and worked out together before we came to uh.

dayton_morinaga: Jeanne asks: Do you guys have any embarrassing moments in basketball?

carl_english: when i dunked on phil was probably HIS most embarassing moment.

phil_martin: when I stuffed Carl in a Cathedral game and threw his stuff to the tenth row, that was probably HIS most embarrassing moment

dayton_morinaga: Carissa wants to know: Did you decide to attend UH at the same time, or was it coincidence?

carl_english: i signed in july and phil came shortly after. it's great that he decided to come here.

phil_martin: I signed shortly after Carl and it was no coincidence

dayton_morinaga: UHCarlEnglish23 asks: Do you guys hang out as a team when you don't have practice?

phil_martin: When we go out we roll eight deep sometimes

carl_english: yes, we live together, we go out and have fun, go to the beach.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: When your coaches yell at you, do you get offended?

phil_martin: Sometimes I get offended, but then I understand that coach is only trying to get the best out of me

carl_english: no, it goes in one ear and out the other. i take the positives and use the negatives as a way as constructive criticism.

dayton_morinaga: klunkywudenslipa asks: Are there some things about Hawaii that you don't like?

phil_martin: I HATE oversized cocaroaches and centipedes

carl_english: yeah, the cockroaches and the ants are geting on my nerves

dayton_morinaga: runtchan asks: Do you guys follow any other UH sports? Which ones?

carl_english: i like to keep track of all of them because they come to support us and we go to support them as much as we can.

phil_martin: Football, I try to support them as much as I can

dayton_morinaga: jomar asks: What do you think about the local food in Hawaii?

carl_english: it's good. i like the chicken. i had this stringy stuff last night and i don't know what it was.

phil_martin: It is flavorful and different from the menu at home

dayton_morinaga: Dreamer asks: Do you guys get homesick? If so, how do you deal with it?

carl_english: i get homesick, it's a big factor we have to deal with. dealing with that is either keeping in touch with people back home or just remember that this is the best thing for me at this stage in my life.

phil_martin: I get homesick but we are all doing it together, that's how I deal with it

dayton_morinaga: UHSavo1 asks: Who on the team has the best sense of humor, and who is the best-looking guy on the team?

carl_english: the best-looking guy is savo. he's so hot right now.

phil_martin: Savo is the best looking guy, he has that blue-steel look down, he's working on Magnum though, he's so hot right now

dayton_morinaga: We will be ending our chat soon. Time for only a few more questions.

dayton_morinaga: miloscampbell123 asks: Do you ever wish that you went to a University closer to home?

carl_english: sometimes but right now this is a great situation for me because of the guard-oriented offense.

phil_martin: It would be convenient, but I think I made the right decision

dayton_morinaga: Several chatters tonight have asked if either of you would be available as a prom date. Well?

carl_english: sorry, dude. i'm too old.

carl_english: savo's available though

phil_martin: sorry, dude. i'm too old

dayton_morinaga: waynekai asks: What would you like the people of Hawaii to know about you that they can't see on the basketball court?
