• "Queen of the Damned": Vampire Lestat (Stuart Townsend) awakens after a two-century nap, and becomes a rock god in a goth band. This fascinates Jesse (Marguerite Moreau), a vampire researcher, and amuses Marius (Vincent Perez), the older vampire who converted Lestat in the first place. He arranged for Lestat to enter the crypt of Queen Akasha (Aaliyah), and after Lestat brings Akasha's stone statue back to life she falls in love with him — a romance we suspect will have its difficulties. Rating: Two stars.
