"Winter Olympics," 4-5 p.m., 6-10 p.m. to midnight, 10:35 p.m.-3 a.m. Also, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., MSNBC and 2-5 p.m., CNBC, rerunning 9 p.m.- Midnight on MSNBC. This is the big day for the Olympics. It's the women's figure skating finals with the long programs. In the past, that's brought classic confrontations and controversies a la Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding. Women's events dominate most of the day. On MSNBC, they have bronze medal games in hockey and curling and the gold game in curling. They also have gold-medal hockey, starting on CNBC and ending on NBC. Skiing events on NBC include men's giant slalom and Nordic combined.
"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. With no "Friends" tonight, CBS fills the gap with a rerun from one of TV's best comedies. This happens to be a terrific episode. Robert, the cop, meets a beauty in a bar. She thinks he's Ray, Robert's semi-famous sportswriting brother.
Of Note
"Glutton Bowl: The World's Greatest Eating Contest," 7 p.m., FOX. Occasionally FOX reminds us that it can be cruel and tasteless. Tonight, it has 40 people eating harmful amounts of food.
"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 7 p.m., CBS. In a rerun. a baby is kidnapped from a wealthy Las Vegas family.
