Tube Notes

Tonight's Must-See

"Winter Olympics," 4-5 p.m., 6:30-10:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m.-Midnight, NBC, rerunning from Midnight-3:30 a.m. Also, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on MSNBC and 1-4 p.m. on CNBC, rerunning 9 p.m.-Midnight on MSNBC. Tonight, figure-skating fans can quit fretting about rules and judges. It's time for the "Champions Gala," when all the medallists can show off without pesky restrictions. Also in prime time are the women's giant slaloms, the four-man bobsleigh and a Nordic combined event that has sprint and cross-country skiing. Daytime has men's 10,000-meter speedskating.

"Primal Fear" (1996), 8 p.m., CBS. Edward Norton was an unknown when he got this role. He gave a superb, career-making performance. Richard Gere stars as a cocky lawyer.

Of Note

"Lost in Space" (1998), 7 p.m., FOX. Lots of talented actors inexplicably agreed to do this ordinary version of a bad TV series. That includes William Hurt, Gary Oldman, Heather Graham, Matt LeBlanc and Lacey Chabert. A trim helps.

"My Wife and Kids," 7 p.m., ABC. Denise Nicholas and Charline Robinson guest as Michael's visiting parents.
