Sing of sausages, win big money

You could be a wiener: Oscar Mayer is challenging elementary students to sing its famous wiener jingle ("Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener ..."), bologna song ("My bologna has a first name ...") or Spanish jingle ("Cuando quiero algo bueno y sabroso ..." ("When I want something good and flavorful ...")) to win money for their schools.

One school from each state will be chosen as a finalist and receive $10,000 for its music program. One grand-prize-winning group will appear in an Oscar Mayer commercial. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible. Teachers should mail an official entry form along with a VHS videotape of students performing one or all of the jingles. Entry forms are available on oscarmayer.com or by calling 1-800-OSCAR-KID.

Entries must be received by April 1. Send them to: Oscar Mayer School House Jam Entries, P.O. Box 5341, Blair, NE 68009-5341.
