Newlyweds

Almaz Welday, daughter of Sebene Teckle and Welday Teckle of Keren, Eritrea, and Thomas Clark Mountain, son of Thomas G. and Edith C. Mountain of Kahalu'u, were married July 22 in Asmara, Eritrea. The reception followed in Asmara. Almaz Welday and Thomas Clark Mountain are caregivers for the elderly. They live in Kane'ohe.

Kellie Ann Lin Lee Char, daughter of Sidney Char of Honolulu and Joycelyn and Paul Bunda of Honolulu, and Alexander Nielsen Pecoraro, son of Joseph and Suzanne Pecoraro of Evergreen, Colo., were married Aug. 11 at Punahou Chapel. The reception followed at Ko'olau Ballrooms. The bride (1995 Punahou School and 1999 University of Puget Sound bachelor's), now Kellie Ann Lin Lee Char Pecoraro, formerly of Honolulu, is a major account manager. The groom (1995 Mullen High and 1999 University of Puget Sound bachelor's), formerly of Evergreen, is a software developer. They live in Tacoma, Wash.
