Respicio memorial set for March 9

Memorial services for Faustino A. Respicio, the long-time Filipino radio and television personality, will be held March 9 at Our Lady of Peace Cathedral.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. A eulogy is set for 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at noon. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the Valley of Temples.

Respicio, 96, died Feb. 13. He was born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.

From 1954 to 1986, Respicio was producer, director and host of "Filipino Fiesta," the longest-running television show produced in Hawai'i. The program showcased and nurtured many local performers.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalina, nephew, Johnny and niece, Josephine.
