Part of Pali Momi evacuated

Portions of two floors of Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi were evacuated tonight and the fire department hazardous-materials unit was investigating.

The evacuation took place about 8:30 p.m.

Officials said it appeared that developing fluid from an X-ray machine did not go into a drain, instead pooling and seeping from the third to second floor.
