Tonight's Must-See

"Hallmark Salute to Gold," 11 a.m., NBC. Lots of solo stars swirl past us here. They include Olympic skating champs Kristi Yamaguchi and Brian Boitano, plus Midori Ito, Steven Cousins and two of this year's prime prospects — Todd Eldredge and Irina Slutskaya. Also, Lloyd Eisler and Isabelle Brasseur provide two wonderfully kinetic numbers. Todd Sand and Jenni Meno also have a high-energy number.

"AFI Awards," 7 p.m., CBS. Here is the newest addition to the pre-Oscar stampede. It's the first year for awards by the American Film Institute. They've nominated 10 films for best picture, including "Shrek," "Lord of the Rings," "A Beautiful Mind," and "In the Bedroom."
