• CELINE PI'ILANI NELSEN has been appointed director of marketing at First Hawaii Title Corp. She was promoted from the position of program director, which she has held for three years.

• CB Richard Ellis Hawaii Inc. named partner and longtime broker Joe Haas new managing director of the locally owned real estate firm, replacing co-managing directors Scott McCormack and Frances Okazaki. McCormack, who joined the company two years ago, will concentrate on consulting and corporate advisory services, and serve as president. Okazaki will focus on office projects and investment properties, and serve as chairwoman. Haas has been with the company since 1987.

• Central Pacific Bank has announced the following appointments: Christine Fukuhara, assistant vice president, Loan Operations Division-Mortgage Loans; Gary Hiramatsu, assistant vice president, Human Resources Division, where he will administer the benefit and compensation programs; and Kenneth Nakagawa, relationship banking officer, Waikiki branch.

• Pattie Herman has been appointed market director of sales, Asia Pacific, for Marriott and Renaissance Resorts. She will be responsible for leading all sales and marketing efforts. Herman has been with the company for more than 10 years.

• Robin Campaniano, president and chief executive officer of AIG Hawaii Insurance Co., has been elected to the board of directors of First Hawaiian Bank. He was Hawai'i's state insurance commissioner from 1987 to 1991 and previously headed the Honolulu district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. He was also special assistant U.S. attorney and deputy state attorney general. He has been a regent of the University of Hawai'i and Chaminade University.

• Matthew Hart has joined Castle & Cooke Resorts LLC as vice president of resorts overseeing the operations and marketing of Lana'i's award-winning resorts, the Lodge at Koele and the Manele Bay Hotel.

• Patricia "Pat" Calles has joined Paradise Media Group as director of sales for its Paradise Pages book. Calles will be responsible for all aspects of Paradise Pages sales, including training, contracts, incentives, and policies and procedures, as well as customer service.
