Tantalus 24-hour cycling event scheduled for Jan. 26

The 24 Hours of Tantalus cycling event will begin at 10 a.m. on Jan. 26. The 24-hour race is for teams of up to 10 people or solo riders in 10-mile loops around Tantalus.

The fee is $30 per team member and $50 per solo racer. After Jan. 19, an additional $10 will be added.

• Lana'i event set: The Hawai'i Pacific Open will be at Lana'i Pine Sporting Clays Jan. 25-27.

The event features $20,000 in prize money and is open to all levels.
