• Bobby Thursby and Velvet perform jazz and R&B tunes 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturdays at Troy's Kahala Bistro. A photo caption in yesterday's TGIF section gave the wrong day because of an editor's error.

• Dr. Terry Shintani's new diet book, "Good Carbohydrate Revolution," is available at Bestsellers Books & Music stores as well as Barnes & Noble Booksellers and is being distributed to bookstores throughout Hawai'i. A story yesterday had incorrect information.

• A new procedure for Honolulu police officers facing disciplinary action will allow them to appear and speak before the department's administrative review board and also to have a police union representative present. A reporter provided incorrect information in a story yesterday.
