Bryan Cadiz has joined Finance Factors Ltd. as a residential loan officer responsible for generating new residential loan applications, processing loan requests and cross-promoting other financial products and services.

Yong S. Goh, M.D., is the new chief of anesthesiology at Straub Clinic & Hospital. He is board-certified in anesthesiology and in internal medicine by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He received his medical degree from Academy of Medicine Singapore, completed his residency in anesthesiology at Medical College of Wisconsin, and completed his fellowship in cardiac anesthesia and intensive care from the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, Calif.

John Kristofich, M.D., has joined Straub Clinic & Hospital's cardiology department. Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine, he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He received his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J. He completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa. His cardiology fellowship was at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

• Bank of Hawaii has announced the appointment of Gretchen Mohen as vice chairwoman of technology and operations and a member of the managing committee. She will be responsible for overseeing information management and operations functions. She comes to the bank from New Jersey-based Mellon Investor Services, where she served since 1999 as chief information officer overseeing strategic technology.

Sabine Glissmann has been appointed director of food and beverage at Halekulani. She will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations of the food and beverage departments, including La Mer, Orchids and House Without A Key restaurants and 14,854 square feet of function space. She most recently served as director of food and beverage at The Park Hyatt, Hamburg, Germany, and was previously with the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Fla.

• Maui Marriott Resort & Ocean Club has promoted Alex Ahluwalia to director of operations. He will oversee all operations of the resort, which features both hotel and vacation ownership villas. Ahluwalia has been director of operations at the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort, Renaissance Denver Hotel and the Renaissance Los Angeles Hotel.

• The trustees of the Estate of James Campbell have elected Richard Gushman II as chairman. He succeeds David Heenan, who served as chairman for 2001. The other trustees are Clint Churchill and Ronald Zlatoper. Gushman is former president and CEO of OKOA Inc. He serves on the boards of Servco, Outrigger Hotels and Oceanic Cablevision. He is also trustee of Pacific Capital Mutual Funds and United Way of America.

• Kuakini Health System has named Lynette Tsukamoto the new manager of the human resources department. She has more than 10 years of experience in human resource management at the Hawaiian Regent Hotel and Oahu Plumbing and Sheetmetal Ltd.
