Events to watch

All events on O'ahu

TODAY

  • Softball: Opening round of 12-team OIA Tournament at various fields.
  • Basketball: Mililani (4-0) opens a pivotal week in the OIA West, taking its No. 3 state ranking to Radford (4-1), 7 p.m. ... Kamehameha and Punahou, both 3-1 in the ILH, meet at Punahou, 7 p.m.
  • Soccer: The OIA West season ends. Mililani has already clinched both the boys and girls championships. The OIA tournament starts Jan. 23 for boys and Jan. 25 for girls; top six teams in each division of each gender.

TOMORROW

  • Softball: Quarterfinals of OIA Tournament at various fields.
  • Soccer: Kaiser (9-0-0) visits Castle (7-0-2) in OIA East boys' season-ending game, but Kaiser has already clinched the divisional championship. Kalaheo's girls have clinched, too.

THURSDAY

  • Softball: Semifinals of OIA Tournament.

FRIDAY

  • Basketball: 'Aiea (5-0) visits Mililani, which also started the week unbeaten in the OIA West. ... Iolani risks its No. 1 state ranking at Kamehameha, 8 p.m.
  • Swimming: Punahou Invitational, 5 p.m.
  • Wrestling: The ILH's best boys wrestlers will be tested in a round-robin team tournament, starting at 5:30 p.m. today and 2 p.m. tomorrow at Iolani.

SATURDAY

  • Softball: OIA championship at Hawai 'i Pacific University, Kane 'ohe campus, approximately 1 p.m.. ... Kamehameha can wrap up the ILH championship with a victory at Mid-Pacific, 10 a.m.
  • Basketball: Kaimuki, trying to keep pace with Kalaheo in the OIA East, plays at Castle, 7 p.m.
  • Diving: Punahou Invitational, 2:30 p.m.
