Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. With no more "Survivor: Africa" to worry about, viewers can focus on "Friends." Tonight the story deals with Rachel and Ross, whose one-night stand led to her pregnancy. They disagree on whether to learn the baby's sex, and on possible names.

Of Note

"Survivor: Back from Africa," 7 p.m., CBS. CBS shows it has trouble letting go: It catches up on the lives of the 16 contestants since the original filming ended.

"Soul Food" (1997), 6 p.m., ABC Family. Not all movies need bigger-than-life plot twists. This excellent film used the almost-ordinary lives of three sisters (Vanessa L. Williams, Vivica Fox, Nia Long), often played out around Sunday dinners at their mom's house. The result is a skillful mix of comedy, tragedy and romance.

"Will and Grace," 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., NBC. First is a rerun of the rather broad episode in which Will and Jack end up protesting near the "Today" show because a gay kiss was removed from a TV show. Then a new episode has Jack and Karen being grumpy roommates.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. The story revisits the man who keeps doing bathtub slayings in the same way his father was killed.

"Just Shoot Me," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Last week, Nina (Wendie Malick) met the daughter (Paula Marshall) she'd given up for adoption. Tonight, they get to know each other better — and Nina is disturbed by how much they have in common.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Just weeks after quitting her job after a fatal medical error, Chen is rehired.
