TONIGHT

"Rhythm & Blues Night in Honor of Martin Luther King" at The Plaza Club, 900 Fort Street Mall, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $34.95 per adult and $17.95 for children under 18. Call Kathy Best at 521-8905 (ext. 30) for reservations.


TOMORROW

"Living Harmony" art exhibit awards and reception, 6:30 p.m., Honolulu Hale. The exhibit at Honolulu Hale courtyard can be viewed weekdays from 7:45 a.m.-5 p.m. through Feb. 16.


SATURDAY

"Campus Care Day," 9 a.m.-noon, at the University of Hawai'i. Group to meet at UH-Manoa chancellor's office. Service at Martin Luther King tree at UH Campus Center at noon.

"Race & Criminal Justice Seminar," at UH's Richardson School of Law, 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m. Federal Judge David Ezra and civil rights attorney Samuel Paz will be participating.

"Celebrating Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service" at Ala Moana Hotel is sponsored by the Hawai'i chapter of Zeta Phi Sigma, 7 p.m.


SUNDAY

"The Rev. Martin Luther King Gospel Celebration," an annual ministerial alliance service, 3 p.m., at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church's Gospel House, 3950 Paine Circle near Honolulu Airport.

Candlelight Nagasaki Peace Bell ringing ceremony, 6:30 p.m., Civic Center grounds at Honolulu Hale.


MONDAY, MLK DAY

Martin Luther King Parade, 9 a.m. from Magic Island to Kapi'olani Park. A parade on Maui from Maui Community College to the Maui Mall begins at 9:15 a.m. and will be followed by a picnic.

"The Unity Rally," 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at Kapi'olani Park featuring entertainment, food and crafts.

"Peacemaker Awards," 7 p.m., Church of the Crossroads at 1212 University Ave. Robert R. Dye will be honored for his 40-year career with the YMCA and a play, "Ka Lei Maile Ali'i — The Queen's Women" will be featured. Call 949-2220 for information.


JAN. 25

"Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Exhibit," Schofield Barracks Library through Feb. 8.


JAN. 26

Honolulu Black Nurses' Association banquet, 6 p.m.-midnight, at Hale Koa Hotel's Waikiki Ballroom. Cost is $40 per person. Call Linda Mitchell, 623-2070, for information.
