Two services for Olson

Two services will be held for Hawai'i boxing great Carl "Bobo" Olson, who died Wednesday at age 73.

Friends may call 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Our Lady of Peace Cathedral. A mass will be held at noon at the church.

Friends also may call 2-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 at the Elks Club, Waikiki. A service will begin at 4 p.m. Ashes will be scattered fronting the Elks Lodge following the service.

Olson is survived by wife, Judith "Judy" Kalama Olson; sons, Carl Jr., Vincent, Grant and Dane; daughters, Karen, Brenda Cotta, Cynthia and Dawn; 18 grandchildren; sisters, Mathilda Howze and Bernice Sullivan and nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Williams Funeral Services.
