2 pizza deliverers victims of crime
Two pizza delivery men were targets in separate crimes last night. At 8 p.m., a 65-year-old man delivering pizza was stopped at University Avenue and Kapi'olani Boulevard when two male robbers, 21 and 16, entered his car and took the pizza. A witness identified one suspect, who named the accomplice living nearby.
At 9:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested for using a rifle to threaten 30-year-old man delivering a pizza to the 2600 block of Date Street. The suspect had been irritated by the noise of the delivery vehicle, a moped, left idling outside.
Sexual assault suspects arrested
Investigation of a domestic dispute between a 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman led yesterday to their arrest in connection with the man's suspected sexual assault of a child in which the woman was an accomplice.
According to police reports, the girl, 7, was a guest in a Waikiki hotel between Nov. 24 and Nov. 26. On an unspecified night, she was awakened by the man and sexually assaulted. The woman held down the victim's arms as she tried to stop her assailant, police said.
The two were identified from an investigation into an unrelated domestic dispute, police said.
