Tonight's Must-See

"Ally McBeal," 8 p.m., FOX. This is the 100th episode for "Ally," which adds up to a mountain of angst. Socially, the characters remain as confused as ever. Tonight, they take the step they probably should have tried 98 episodes ago: Four of them — Cage, Nelle, Elaine and Coretta — sign up with a matchmaking service. Ally has her own match in mind: the handsome handyman, played by rocker Jon Bon Jovi.

Of Note

"Fame for 15," 5 p.m., TNN. On the victory stand of the 1968 Olympics, Tommie Smith and John Carlos gave the black-power salute. The story before and after that is fascinating. Here is an interesting portrait. The hour also looks at Kerri Strug, the ill-fated gymnast of 1996 Olympic fame.

"Antiques Roadshow," 8 p.m., PBS. A new season begins with a startling discovery: An Arizona man brings in a Navajo blanket he usually kept folded over the back of his chair. It is appraised as a national treasure, worth $350,000 to $500,000.

"The Hughleys," 8 p.m., UPN. All four UPN comedies tonight follow a Martin Luther King Day theme. In this one, Michael has a class project in which he wants a street named after King.

"Sins of the Father" (2002), 6 p.m., Fox. This movie tells the true story of the man whose testimony helped convict his father of the bombing of an Alabama church decades earlier, killing four black girls.

"The Wishing Tree" (2000), 6 p.m., ABC Family. This beautifully acted film has Alfre Woodard as a big-city lawyer, returning to her hometown in small-town Georgia.

"Daria: Is It College Yet?" 6 p.m., MTV. After five years, this well-made cartoon series wraps up with a movie. Daria and Tom are applying for college.

"One on One," 8:30 p.m., UPN. Duane finds he's a distant relative of Martin Luther King.
